Karthik is a Designer, Researcher and a Technologist.
He graduated from New York University (NYU) with a Master's in Interactive Telecommunications (ITP) at Tisch School of the Arts. His work involves combining design, research and technology in creating compelling experiences. He is passionate about design and technology and everything there is in between. He specializes in scaling up ideas and seeing them through.
He has worked with the MIT Media Lab at the City Science(Changing Places) research group. He currently works with The New York Times and focuses on shaping how journalistic stories are told with new technologies - augmented reality, virtual reality, 3D Web and computer vision.
